CRM Contacts

A contact is a person associated with a client - e.g., a company employee, project manager, or contact person. A single client can have multiple contacts.

Contact Data

  • First and last name
  • Position
  • Email, phone, mobile phone
  • Address (street, postal code, city, country)
  • Website
  • Description and notes

A contact is assigned to a client. One of the contacts can be marked as the primary contact of the client - they are then displayed on the client card.

If a contact doesn’t have an address filled in, the system uses the client’s address.

Contact Types

  • Buyer - a contact on the buyer’s side
  • Supplier - a contact on the supplier’s side

Associations

From the contact view you can see:

  • Emails sent/received to the contact’s address
  • VoIP calls
  • Deals linked to the contact
  • Notes
  • Chat conversations
  • Documents

Merging Contacts

When duplicate contacts exist within a client, they can be merged. The system detects duplicates by email and phone number.

External ID

A contact can have an external_id for synchronization with external systems.

Contacts can be searched by first name, last name, email, company, and description. The search engine supports beginning-of-word matching.
