How to connect a Microsoft 365 / Outlook mailbox to Sugester

This integration allows sending emails from Sugester using your Microsoft 365, Outlook.com, Hotmail, or Live.com account without entering your password in the CRM.

What you’ll need

  • Microsoft account credentials (business or personal)
  • Administrator permissions on your Sugester account

Step-by-step instructions

1. Open mailbox configuration

Go to 4 dots -> Mail -> Email mailboxes and click Add mailbox.

2. Select Microsoft as SMTP provider

In Sending method (SMTP), select Microsoft. Click the integration link that appears.

3. Connect your Microsoft account

Click Install -> Launch.

Enter your Microsoft credentials. Approve the SMTP.Send permission.

5. Done!

You’ll see “Connected to Microsoft” and a verified mailbox.

Managing the integration

To disconnect: 4 dots -> Account -> Integrations and add-ons -> Microsoft SMTP -> Launch -> Disconnect.

Common issues

  • “Organization doesn’t allow this application” - IT admin must approve in Entra ID
  • “Invalid scope” - log out of Microsoft and retry
  • 403 error - ensure you’re logged in as Sugester administrator
  • Mailbox didn’t appear - check you logged into the correct Microsoft account

Data security

Sugester does not store your password. You can revoke the token at https://account.live.com/consent/Manage.
