Deals

A deal is a sales opportunity or transaction associated with a client. Deals allow you to track the sales pipeline — from first contact to closing.

Deal Data

  • Name — title of the sales opportunity
  • Net and Gross Amount — transaction value
  • Currency — transaction currency
  • Tax — VAT rate
  • Date — main deal date
  • Date Range — from/to date (e.g., contract period)
  • Number — deal number
  • Invoice Number — associated invoice
  • Description — details

Deal Status

A deal progresses through pipeline stages — from new to closed:

  • Pipeline stages — defined by statuses (e.g., “Contact”, “Offer”, “Negotiations”)
  • Won (win) — transaction completed successfully
  • Lost — client declined

Associations

  • Client — which client the deal belongs to
  • Contact — contact person on the client side
  • Project — associated project
  • Task — associated task
  • Responsible — who manages the deal
  • Next Deal — link to the next transaction (follow-up)

Notes and Attachments

Notes and files can be added to a deal — e.g., offers, contracts, correspondence.

External ID

A deal can have an external_id for synchronization with external systems (e.g., an invoicing system).
