What Are Email Reports?
Email reports are statistical summaries of the Mail module — how many messages were received, sent, what the response time is, and the workload of individual mailboxes and people.
Accessing Reports
Go to Mail → Reports (/mail/reports). Reports are generated automatically and presented as charts and tables.
Report Data
Reports may include:
- Number of emails — received and sent over time
- Distribution by mailbox — how many messages went to each mailbox
- Distribution by person — workload of individual users
- Response time — average time from receipt to first reply
- Statuses — email distribution by status
- Folders — number of messages in each folder
Report Regeneration
An administrator can force report regeneration using the Regenerate reports button in Mail settings. This is useful after data migration or bug fixes.
Important Information
- Reports are generated automatically by the system (Insight module)
- Report data is cached — regeneration may take a moment
- Reports do not have a separate API — they are available through the web interface
